A few weeks ago, I went to my friend Dan’s house, for a “Pachyderm Pot Luck” dinner. Dan who is an immensely talented and prolific artist invites folks over for a pot luck dinner every year. This is in advance of Ringling Brothers Circus walking the elephants from the downtown Baltimore arena, through our narrow streets to the awaiting ‘Circus Train’ at the historic B & O rail yard , where the elephants are then boarded onto railroad cars.
It is quite the spectacle and children of all ages line the streets and their ’stoops’ to witness the informal but oh so charming parade
